In 2023, the Modern Records Centre (MRC) at the University of Warwick celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Founded in 1973, the MRC boasts over 1500 collections specialising in political, economic, and social history, in particular industrial relations and industrial politics. Our holdings relate mostly – but far from exclusively – to British history and date largely from the late 19th century onwards.
We were tasked with creating graphics to be used to promote the MRC and the celebrations being held for the anniversary. The visual identity was made up of records held by the MRC to be housed with a 50th device and would give a taste array of information the collections hold.
