An oppawtunity too good to turn down

The RSPCA Coventry & District branch are celebrating 150 years in 2023, and to commemorate the landmark they turned to us to create a special anniversary identity.

The brief was to create a new brand identity that would engage the local community while paying tribute to the years of service.

Each year the RSPCA Coventry & District branch, an independent charity which is separate to the national RSPCA, helps over 1000 animals.

Their 150th anniversary starts in July and will see a range of community, corporate and volunteer events across the year. The events will help raise money for the branch which needs £40,000 a month to operate and continue to support the region.

The branch wanted to involve the public in the decison-making process, so we created three different identities that were put to the vote, with the winning design announced in March.

Emma Davies, branch Fundraising and Marketing Manager at RSPCA Coventry & District Branch, said:  “We were overwhelmed by the response from JADE who offered their time to create our new identity. They produced three fantastic logos and we asked the community to choose their favourite. We can’t wait to start celebrating and hope it helps raise much needed funds.”

Jason Dickens, Business Development Director at JADE Brand Agency, said: “We try to Coventry causes as much as we can, as well beng as a studio of animal lovers too. We were delighted to be asked to produce the celebration logo and happy to donate our time to help the anniversary year.”
